What is an online accident report?
An online accident report is a digital flow that lets you start the accident process from your phone, without leaving the scene. You open the mobile app, take photos of the vehicles and the damage, add a short video and your location, upload your driving licence, registration and policy details, and submit your statement within minutes. No paper forms, no need to carry a printed report with you.
Here is what matters: even though the process begins digitally, the document produced is not an ordinary form. The report is drawn up by an authorised registered insurance adjuster under Article 22/17 of Law 5684 (the Insurance Act) and may include the adjuster’s technical opinion and a sketch of the scene. It combines the convenience of a mobile experience with an adjuster-signed report that has evidential value.
How it differs from SBM’s mobile report
Many drivers searching for “accident report from your phone” confuse it with SBM’s Mobile Accident Detection Report / ALO KTT app. That app is the digital version of the mutual report drivers fill out among themselves — you enter the statement yourself and the document contains no independent adjuster assessment. Alo Tutanak’s online flow is entirely different: from your phone you collect the evidence, and an authorised registered insurance adjuster prepares the technical opinion and sketch where applicable.
Unlike the simple mutual/mobile report drivers fill out themselves, the online adjuster report carries an impartial expert opinion. Even if the other driver denies the accident, the adjuster’s assessment can support the file with technical evidence. The mobile experience is practical; in the end you hold an adjuster-signed report, not only a driver statement.
| Feature | SBM mobile / mutual report | Online adjuster report (Alo Tutanak) |
|---|---|---|
| Who enters the statement? | The drivers | Driver uploads evidence, adjuster assesses |
| Technical opinion | No independent adjuster opinion | Yes, where applicable |
| Sketch | Driver drawing | Prepared by the adjuster |
| Live expert support | None | 24/7 call centre |
| Legal weight | Statement level | Adjuster-signed evidential report |
Challenges of filing by phone at the scene
The moment of an accident is stressful and confusing; filling out a paper form correctly on a small screen and leaving no field blank is often difficult. Drivers get confused about which angle to shoot from and which document to upload; shaky hands and shots taken in low light can fall short for the claim file.
Another challenge is connectivity: internet can be weak at the scene, or the phone battery can be low. Third, when a driver is alone, they cannot tell what they have missed. The online flow reduces these challenges — it shows you step by step which photo to take, adds video and location automatically, and lets you save the data and send it later if there is no connection. At every point where you get stuck, expert support from the 24/7 line is one tap away.

Security & compliance
Even though the online flow is digital, the report is drawn up only by an authorised registered insurance adjuster under Law 5684 art. 22/17. The photos, video and documents you upload from your phone are transmitted encrypted in compliance with KVKK (Law 6698) and processed only with your explicit consent, for the purpose of producing the report. We provide an independent service with no special arrangement with any insurer.
The app, call line and guidance are free; the adjuster fee process is handled under Law 5684 art. 22/19 and the relevant insurance contract terms. Use it only for material-damage accidents with no injuries — if anyone is injured or there is an urgent safety risk, call 112.
