Privacy Agreement
Alo Tutanak attaches importance to personal information and data security and takes all necessary measures in this regard. Users also accept, declare and undertake to act in accordance with the provisions of this privacy agreement by using the Application and the website.
This Privacy Agreement shall apply to all parts of the Application and the website.
The protection of users’ information and the maintenance of confidentiality is Alo Tutanak’s first priority. For this reason, the information provided by Users shall not be used for any purpose other than the rules and purposes specified in the agreement, and shall not be shared with third parties. Alo Tutanak has the right to reach the User via SMS, telephone calls and other channels for communication, marketing, notifications and other purposes through the mobile telephone lines and other contact details provided by the User in the registration form on the Application. By accepting this agreement, the User accepts and declares that Alo Tutanak may carry out the above-mentioned communication activities directed at the User unless the User notifies otherwise in writing.
Alo Tutanak may access information shared by the User within the scope of the Application. Alo Tutanak undertakes to share this information only with its participants for the purposes of the Application. The User also accepts that this information will be used to communicate with them for the purposes of the Application. Alo Tutanak shall never share, sell, or in any way permit the use of the personal data and information transmitted to it with third parties for any purpose other than those described above.
Information obtained through the Application may be used by Alo Tutanak and other persons and institutions with which it cooperates only in cases such as various statistical evaluations, opt-in marketing, database creation efforts and market research, without the User’s identity being disclosed in any way.
In the following cases Alo Tutanak may, going outside the provisions of this privacy notice, disclose information about users to third parties:
- Cases where compliance with statutory obligations is required;
- Cases related to the fulfilment and implementation of contracts between Alo Tutanak and its Users;
- Cases where information about Users is requested in connection with an investigation or proceeding conducted by competent administrative and/or judicial authorities in accordance with the proper procedure;
- Cases where it is necessary to disclose information for the purpose of protecting Users’ rights or safety.
Alo Tutanak undertakes to keep confidential information given to it strictly private and confidential, to keep it as a secret, and to take all necessary measures and exercise all due care to maintain confidentiality and to prevent confidential information in whole or in part from entering the public domain, being used without authorisation or being disclosed to a third party.
Information that may be requested from Users in response to periodic or non-periodic surveys that may be carried out by Alo Tutanak within the Applications may also be used by Alo Tutanak and the persons or institutions it cooperates with for the purposes of direct marketing to these users, statistical analysis and the creation of a special database.
Alo Tutanak may modify the provisions of this privacy notice at any time it deems necessary, provided that the modified terms are published in the Application and on the website. The modified provisions are deemed to enter into force on the date they are published.
This Privacy Agreement is an integral part of the Mobile Application User Agreement.
Data Retention Periods
Alo Tutanak retains personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed and for the limitation, retention and proof periods required by applicable law. When the retention period expires or the processing purpose no longer exists, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Our retention approach for the main categories of data processed through the application and services is as follows:
- Account and contact information: Kept while your account is active. After account closure or your deletion request, it is deleted from active systems within 30 days at the latest, subject to legal obligations and possible dispute/proof periods.
- Accident report, claim file, photo, video, location, plate, vehicle and insurance information: Kept for the period necessary to prepare the report, manage the insurance/claim process, comply with legal obligations and prove possible disputes. This period is generally up to 10 years from the transaction date, within the applicable legal and limitation periods.
- Call centre, support and transaction records: Kept for service quality monitoring, request/complaint management and dispute resolution, generally for up to 3 years from the record date. If legislation or a legal process requires a longer period, relevant records may be retained for that period.
- Marketing consents and communication preferences: Kept until you withdraw your consent and for the legal period necessary to prove that consent was given or withdrawn.
- Cookie and web analytics data: Cookie preferences and related records are kept for the cookie lifetime or while your consent remains valid. Retention periods in third-party services are subject to the policies of the relevant providers.
Data contained in backups is deleted or overwritten when the secure backup cycle is completed. After your deletion request is fulfilled, the data is no longer used in active systems; records remaining in backup copies are retained only for disaster recovery, security and legal obligation purposes.
Data Deletion and Account Closure
To request deletion of your personal data or closure of your account, you may email info@alotutanak.com.tr or contact us through the in-app support/contact channels. Including the phone number or email address associated with your account helps us verify your identity.
Deletion requests are completed within 30 days at the latest after identity verification. Upon your request, your account and active service data are deleted or anonymised. However, data that must be retained under applicable law, insurance/claim processes, judicial or administrative authority requests, performance of the contract, legitimate interests or proof of possible disputes may be kept only for those limited purposes for the legally required period.
To stop marketing communications, use the opt-out methods in the messages or contact us at info@alotutanak.com.tr. You can change cookie preferences through your browser settings or by clearing cookies so that the cookie banner is shown again.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience, analyse the service and measure advertising performance. You can accept or reject these trackers by category through the cookie consent banner shown on your first visit. Until your preference is recorded, analytics and marketing trackers do not run, via Google Consent Mode v2 (KVKK-compliant default-deny behaviour).
